The gap between systems
ERP, CRM, PMS and line-of-business apps don't talk to each other. We build the integration layer – instead of months of vendor tickets and Excel bridges.
Enterprise & custom software
For corporations and larger SMEs looking for a reliable delivery partner: we develop specialised software, integrate systems and bring AI into existing landscapes – delivered fast, cleanly documented, auditable, without lock-in.
SAP · CRM · legacy system · line-of-business app
Deal 4711 won in the CRM → create customer in the ERP, open project in the line-of-business system, activate portal access, update management report.
What the layer is doing right now
In short
InnovationLAB GmbH from Wörgl in Tyrol is a delivery partner for corporations and larger SMEs: custom software, integration layers between SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and legacy systems, internal tools and portals, AI functions in existing landscapes under the EU AI Act, hardening of prototypes into production systems and extended workbench. Engagement as a fixed-price contract, dedicated team or time & material; NDA up front, open standards, complete documentation and handover without lock-in. References are given in person; many projects are under NDA.
When companies call us
Six situations in which we're called most often – and in which standard software or the next vendor ticket doesn't help.
ERP, CRM, PMS and line-of-business apps don't talk to each other. We build the integration layer – instead of months of vendor tickets and Excel bridges.
Departments work with Excel bridges and isolated tools. We build the internal tool that maps exactly your process.
LLM functions in existing processes and systems – with model choice instead of vendor lock-in, classified and documented under the EU AI Act.
The prototype exists, but nobody hardens it: security, scaling, error handling, operations. We turn it into a system that holds up.
The old system runs, but nobody dares touch it. We make it connectable via an API layer – and migrate in stages if needed.
Your architecture, our team: modules in your stack, in your sprints, with code reviews by your people – as plannable extra capacity.
Solutions at a glance
Integration, identity, infrastructure and handover – so that your IT signs it off and can take it over later.
01 / SAP · Microsoft Dynamics · Salesforce · in-house builds
02 / SSO · SAML · OIDC · Entra ID
03 / EU cloud · on-premises · your environment
04 / Git · CI/CD · code reviews
05 / Stages instead of big bang
06 / So your team can take over at any time
Engagement models
Depending on how clear the scope is and how long you need capacity.
No lock-in
Typical landscapes:
What we develop specifically for you, you may use and develop further permanently – we set out the details transparently in the contract.
Established frameworks instead of proprietary builds only we can maintain.
Every decision traceable – even for a team that has never met us.
Your IT or a third party can take over – planned, documented, no black box.
Mapped to our four phases. How we work
System landscape, processes, constraints and stakeholders – mapped in a few days at a fixed price. The results are yours, whatever happens next.
Solution architecture reviewed with your IT – including an honest make-or-buy recommendation. Even if the answer is: buy rather than build.
Two-week cycles with demonstrable increments and measurable milestones. Your department sees progress, not status reports.
Documentation, training, operations manual – then you take over, or we keep running it with defined response times.
Compliance
Procurement, legal and IT security say yes too – because data protection, AI regulation and auditability are part of the architecture.
Data processing agreement, EU data storage, deletion and access concepts – data protection is part of the architecture.
Risk classification, transparency obligations and documentation for every AI function – so your legal department can come along rather than having to brake.
An NDA before the first substantive conversation is standard – also based on your group template.
Traceable decisions, change history, access concepts – prepared for internal audit and external reviews.
Digital accessibility under the Austrian Accessibility Act and the European Accessibility Act – built in from the start for customer-facing applications.
Defined response times, monitoring and maintenance windows on request – or full takeover by your team.
FAQ
That depends on the scope. That's why we start with a fixed-price discovery: afterwards you have an architecture sketch, an effort estimate and an honest make-or-buy recommendation – and you decide whether and how to continue.
If the scope can be defined cleanly, a fixed-price contract with acceptance criteria is usually the better choice. Time & material suits discovery, prototypes and volatile requirements, a dedicated team suits ongoing needs. Your procurement decides.
Yes – and to in-house builds. We integrate via REST, GraphQL, SOAP or webhooks and supply the interface contracts. SSO via SAML, OIDC or Entra ID is included.
Like an internal team: Git, CI/CD, staging environments and code reviews with your people. The architecture is reviewed with your IT in advance, delivery is in two-week cycles.
Yes, if it's set up properly from the start: risk classification, transparency obligations and documentation are part of every AI function – with free model choice and EU data storage.
Yes, that's standard – also based on your group template.
Yes, it's designed for that: open standards, architecture documentation, decision records, operations manual and training. We set out the rights to the result transparently in the contract.
In the conversation, not on the website. We work for public institutions, tourism, service providers and retail – much of it under NDA. We name concrete projects and contacts when we sit down together.
